Keep On Dreaming

When I was young I had a dream. So was my father. My father's dream was to send me to
university.Every Sunday evening he would take me and the rest of the family for a ride round
Lake Gardens and he would passed by Malay Girls College. He said one day I would
be there studying before entering university. I did not go to Malay Girls College but I did
enter university.I made my father proud. So what happened to my dream. When I was young
I like to listen to music especially songs by Saloma better known as Salmah Ismail at that time.
I could sing her songs and I was her fan and till now I still do.She became a niteclub singer and
was the first Malay female niteclub singer performed in a niteclub in Melbourne,Australia.I was
very proud of her.Since then I dreamed to be like Saloma singing in niteclub as my career.
But my father"s dream became priority. So there goes my young girl dream.

As I grow older I had another dream.I wanted to be a doctor, but I could not get into science
stream. So forget about being Dr.Nora .At the university I studied Social Sciences.I had another
dream-to be a lecturer but instead I landed being a radio producer at RTM.(But I did marry a professor thou) It did not last long before I became a PR person and from there I climbed the
career ladder to success before my retirement two years ago. Now I still have a dream.
Im working very hard to make this dream a reality.Wish me luck, guys!

Never too old to have dreams. Retirement time is the perfect time to accomplish them, since there's no work commitments. Your children will always support you. Go Ma!
